Ugears Mini Biplane

The Ugears Mini Double Decker model is both a fun toy and a beautiful decorative item to place on the shelf. We opted for an open design, making the biplane hull light and transparent and revealing the workings of the model.
 
Machines shouldn't be a mystery! We want to encourage the natural curiosity of our young builders and help them learn more about engines and simple mechanics.
 
The wooden mini biplane model has a spinning propeller and is powered by a rubber band motor - just pull the model back along a surface to wind it up, then let go and see how it goes!
 
No glue or special tools are required to assemble this DIY kit, just push the pre-cut pieces out of the wooden boards and snap them together. When assembling the airplane model, remember to lightly sand and wax the moving parts to keep them running smoothly.
 
As your child learns to build this delightful, engaging toy, it will also increase their mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
