Ugears Steampunk Zeppelin

This DIY mini airship has that retro steampunk style that Ugears is known for.
 
With a tugboat-like cabin and aft deck and a wind-up rubber band motor, this makes for a unique design. With the start/stop switch and the engine-driven propellers, the model can move back and forth up to approximately 2 meters.
 
German inventor Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin worked on his design for an inflatable airship for more than twenty years before patenting his invention in 1895.
 
Commercial zeppelins have large cylindrical bodies made of fabric stretched over a rigid metal frame containing the large gas bags that provide buoyancy.
Our airship is smaller-scale, more personal and more homely.
 
The creative process does not have to end once the model is assembled. You can optionally paint, color or stain the Steampunk Airship in a color scheme of your choice (paint not included).
