With the Mini Locomotive we offer you a simple, "Easy" certified, do-it-yourself train model that anyone can build, including young train enthusiasts.
 
This rubber band-powered wooden train model has a surprising "up-and-go" ride and can travel more than 2 meters in one turn. The sleek retro style is reminiscent of the 1930s, the last decade in which coal-fired steam locomotives took a prominent place.
 
The locomotive features a wind-up ratchet key, a "Start/Stop" switch for easy operation and three linked main wheels with connecting rods so the train can move on any flat surface. The locomotive connects to an open coal tender that can be used to carry a favorite toy, snack or note to a loved one across the room!
 
To operate your mechanical wooden train model, set the power switch at the top of the front of the train to the "Off" position, turn the ratchet knob on the side of the locomotive 6-7 times and place the train. on the floor or on a table while holding it with one hand. Then set the switch to "On" and release.
 
The rotational power is transmitted to the wheels via a gear block, while a flywheel slows down and evens out the acceleration of the train. The train's rubber band motor can be turned over and over again. If you ever need to replace the rubber bands, this can be easily done by spooling the line they are attached to using the ratchet wrench.
