Ugears Engine Clock
This functional mechanical table clock with pendulum has a car theme, with an engine block design on top with moving pistons and a time display in the style of a speedometer (hours) and tachometer (minutes).
The clock makes a lovely ticking sound, while the passing seconds are displayed on the back of the clock.
The engine clock tells time up to 5 hours on a single winding (running time can be extended by another 60 to 90 minutes when the pistons are disengaged). The mechanism on the minute hand resets automatically after 60 minutes.
Instruction
Wind the engine clock with the ignition key on the front of the clock. To set the time, turn the large gear closest to the clock face (the retrograde mechanism) clockwise until the minute hand is at zero, then use your finger to turn the hour hand counterclockwise. move and place it at the current hour. Set the minute hand to the current time by turning the large gear just behind the dial again.
If the clock is running fast or slow, you can adjust the pendulum. Increase or decrease the round weight at the bottom of the pendulum for larger time adjustments and increase or decrease the ball at the top of the pendulum for fine tuning.
People sometimes say that a finely tuned engine runs like clockwork.
With this wooden building kit it is the other way around. A precisely tuned clock that looks like an engine.
