Ugears Stegosaurus

The Stegosaurus, the walking fortress from the late Jurassic period, is the newest dinosaur from Ugears and joins the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Triceratops in the Ugears dino collection.

The Stegosaurus from Ugears is a spring-powered, four-legged DIY dino-automaton, which can walk up to a meter on a single coil. The winding key is located in the belly of the dinosaur. The plate above the dinosaur's shoulder functions as a "Start/Stop" switch. Push the plate back before giving the key ten half turns, then place the Stegosaurus on a flat surface, slide the shoulder plate forward and watch your living fossil walk away in search of its next meal!
 
An eccentric acceleration causes the tail to swing in sync with the legs, allowing the dinosaur to walk lifelike.
